Programmer Analyst I
A well-established and reputable Alaskan company is currently seeking an experienced candidate to fulfill the role of Programmer Analyst I. This role is primarily responsible for the developing and providing support for computer applications that assist in accomplishing business objectives.
Key job responsibilities will include:
- Programming, testing and debugging computer software and processes
- Translating client and service needs into application software
- Developing and performing maintenance for automated basic applications to improve operating efficiency and quality control
- Assisting in the development of projects focused on improving client satisfaction and service
- Developing and performing maintenance for application and systems documentation
- Providing input for client documentation, training, and project status
Educational and experience requirements include:
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science or a related field – equivalent technical training may be substituted
- Three years related work experience in the analysis, development and maintenance of applications
- Some experience with programming languages [VB.NET, ASP.NET, Visual Basic, C+ and JAVA] is preferred, as well as experience with common programming utilities in a Microsoft or J2EE environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with financial environments is highly desirable
