Part-time Payroll Assistant – Work week is only Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:30 a.m. –  5:30 p.m. Processing weekly payroll for 80-120 employees by verifying/calculating time card hours and entering in GreatPlains/Dynamics, creating and maintaining payroll files, processing new hire paperwork, handling check and invoice runs, answering unemployment inquiries and generating reports on employee/client company data.  Will have heavy interaction with employees to answer questions and obtain necessary information for payroll processing.

Position requires minimum three years’ experience in busy, diverse accounting related role.  Looking for someone with stable job history and excellent references.  Must have strong math skills and exceptional attention to detail.  Willing to train on payroll tasks, but any payroll or accounting experience helpful.  Must have intermediate to advanced computer skills.  Requires strong communication skills.  Ability to work with diverse personalities essential.  Should enjoy interacting with people as well as handling routine tasks on own.  Need to be ok working in open space with distractions.  Beautiful offices downtown with free parking available.  Fun, dynamic group that works hard and sometimes laughs harder.  Hours are Tuesday – Thursday 8:30-5:30.  $16/hour.  Send resume to Anne Bulmer: anne_b@akexec.com

Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Are you an Adult Psychiatric Mental Health Advanced Nurse Practitioner who wants to practice at the top level of your profession with Alaska seniors in an interdisciplinary environment? An excellent senior based Anchorage practice is seeking a Mental Health ANP Manager to provide and coordinate patient mental health care in an evidenced-based model of care, IMPACT. In particular, you will educate patients about depression, its treatment, provide behavioral activation, and monitor depressive symptoms and responses to medication and/or psychotherapy using PHQ-9. You will also work closely with the primary care provider and a consulting psychiatrist.

Practice Overview

This practice is a 501(c)(3) non-profit outpatient health care clinic developed and dedicated to providing high quality outpatient medical care for seniors. The clinic provides all health care services found in a traditional physician’s office, including management of acute and chronic illnesses. The clinic is integrated with local specialists to assure continuity of care with providers. Laboratory services are on-site to help streamline services, and patient access to their electronic medical records through a secure patient portal will help patients track lab results, prescriptions and other medical information.

Position Requirements

The Advanced Nurse Practitioner must be authorized to practice in one or more of the following population focus areas: adult, geriatric, or adult psychiatric mental health and meet all the requirements, including a license to practice in the State of Alaska, of 12 AAC 44.400. Preference will be given to an adult psychiatric mental health ANP.

A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a relevant setting and knowledge of community resources for older adults is required. Prior exposure to brief, structured counseling techniques, e.g., CBT or PST is desired.

Data Entry/Customer Service Assistant

Do you come out of a car rental, bank teller or data entry and customer service background? If so, this job may be for you. Duties include strong data entry abilities into Excel worksheets, book shipping and vehicle rates, to/from Alaska, must have strong customer service abilities to speak with potential clients who have multiple questions regarding transportation of vehicles. The successful candidate will have a good mix of data entry abilities and still be articulate and informative with customers. This is not an entry level position. Must have previous data entry and customer service experience to be considered.
