| Description | Do you have your Alaska PE or can you achieve comity within 6 months? You have a minimum of 8 years experience doing commercial or industrial electrical design. Do you have at least two years of SIGNIFICANT design team project management experience? Are you well known and respected with other design professionals in Alaska (Architects, Civil and Mechanical Engineers) or have the desire to build your relationships here? Do you enjoy business development and are able to bring work to the firm? You have a solid understanding of power distribution, interior and exterior lighting design and are familiar with computer based lighting design software. You also have a thorough understanding of the National Electric Code, International Building Code and local amendments. You are proficient with AutoCAD 2004 or more recent versions. Oilfield design experience is also a plus, either power and/or controls or both. Do you like working with your hands? Do you think in 3D? We're looking for someone who likes to work hard, can work independently and within the team, are open to learning new techniques and love to be in Alaska?
