  Job Title   Corporate Compliance Officer
       
  Location   Dillingham, AK
       
  Description   Corporate Compliance Officer experienced in overseeing the development, administration and implementation of a JCAHO-approved facility’s corporate compliance program. Assists the CEO with the development and implementation of system-wide programs, policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws and agency regulations. Will promote an awareness and understanding of ethical principles consistent with facility’s mission and values. Must possess knowledge of specific laws and regulations imposed on healthcare systems by various agencies. Must be an RN, RRA or ART or have equivalent quality improvement training. Must have a minimum of five years hospital experience with at least two years in corporate compliance, performance improvement or risk management. Proven track record of effectively working with Medical Staff and working knowledge of analysis of data to identify patterns and trends. Communication skills, both written and oral, with a knowledge of medical terminology required. Imperative you understand discretion and maintaining confidentiality of certain elements of the program. Prior IHS/PHS or Federal hospital experience and/or rural hospital experience is desirable. Knowledge of JCAHO standards is preferable. Prefer BSN with a Masters Degree in health, administration, business, or Medical Degree or Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality. Past experience in Risk Management is preferable.
