| Description | Dynamic, fast growing service-oriented corporation in Anchorage has immediate need for an Assistant Manager of Compensation and Benefits. Seeking strong team player to assist in developing, implementing, and administering competitive and responsive compensation and benefit plans and programs for employees that support the company’s total rewards strategy. The ideal candidate has been working in the field of human resources for the past three years with a keen focus on the compensation and benefits aspect and brings to the table a solid understanding of benefits negotiation. You are a self-starter, creative thinker, and risk taker who thrives in a challenging fast paced, results oriented environment. Your excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills will aid in your success. You will assist in establishing salary structures, developing salary budgets, administering retirement programs, and preparing policies and procedures to ensure the achievement of equitable and competitive employee compensation to attract and reward top talent. You will maintain a working knowledge of current federal and state legislation influencing compensation, benefits, and equity programs. Your strong skills with HRMS and working knowledge of ePay and salary administration will be critical in this role. Your previous compensation and benefit survey experience will be a plus.
