| Description | Looking for talented, experienced software developers who thrive on creating custom applications but who also crave a great work-life balance - 40 hour work weeks are the norm! An Anchorage-based software firm is looking for you now. You should have great skills and demonstrated professional experience of at least five years with any combination of the following development languages: Java, C++, C#, and/or the .NET Framework. You must have experience working with SQL Server or Oracle databases. You should have technical team leadership and/or application architecture and design experience. You must be comfortable working with clients and have strong teamwork skills. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred – appropriate work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. You must have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. You will work on varied client projects with a variety of development tools, languages and environments. You’ll be expected to work closely with clients to identify, develop and document technical and functional requirements. You’ll participate in design and interface reviews to ensure applications developed meet client needs. If you’re a senior developer, you can expect to lead small development teams through the development lifecycle and will be relied upon to architect and design solutions that meet customer requirements.
