| Description | Executive Director MatSu Health Foundation is searching for an experienced, dynamic professional who believes in and wants to lead and oversee the management of the Foundation in its mission to provide financial support for well-managed 501(c)(3) organizations offering services and practical solutions to significant health related problems impacting the citizens of the Mat-Su Borough. The Board of Directors feels this is an outstanding opportunity for the candidate with experience working in a management capacity within a foundation of equal or greater size or strong management and financial background within the business community where he/she was responsible for the growth and success of the business/organization. Additionally, the ideal individual has experience developing guidelines and application forms for grants, participating as an active member of community organizations, being the spokesperson for a business or organization within the community or is comfortable speaking in public, being responsible for or part of a team that developed a successful long range plan for a business or organization’s growth, developing budgets, working with Board of Directors and Board Committees, directing and developing staff on a day-to-day basis and maintaining the policies and procedures by which a successful business was run.
