<p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p>
<p>1. Handles confidential matters concerning policies and procedures.<br />
2. Assists the CEO by gathering records, reports, correspondence or other specific information.<br />
3. Assists the CEO in preparing documents, letters and other specific information.<br />
4. Keeps the CEO informed on matters of concern at the facility and secures information required for proper action on such matters.<br />
5. Coordinate physician recruitment and orientation checklists.<br />
6. Makes travel arrangements for personnel being recruited, guest speakers and CEO.<br />
7. Arranges appointments, meetings and conferences. Contacts the appropriate persons to attend.<br />
a) Communicates meeting times to appropriate individuals.<br />
b) Coordinates information for meetings.<br />
c) Distributes information for meetings. Arranges for food, audio-visual equipment, etc.<br />
8. Maintains and publishes calendar of events for scheduling Conference Room.<br />
9. Develops and maintains computerized system for tracking provider credentialing information and staff information.<br />
10. Maintain continuing Medical Education certificates<br />
11. Prepares applications and monitors current status of medical licenses, DEA certificates and Certificate of Insurance for professional liability.<br />
12. Provides Notary Services for the facility.<br />
13. Prepares, mails and distributes call calendars on a monthly basis.<br />
14. Orders and distributes &#8220;Cardiology Update&#8221; to referring physicians and staff.<br />
15. Coordinates special projects and events.<br />
16. Accompanies or represents CEO at various meetings as assigned.<br />
17. Attends all Management Team meetings, takes minutes and distributes to all team members.<br />
18. Maintains Policy and Procedure Manuals for each Anchorage site. Announces new policies to all staff.<br />
19. Maintains strictest confidentiality.<br />
20. Maintains a supply of current Employee Handbooks for distribution to new employees.<br />
21. Maintains employee computerized photo and information board.<br />
22. Performs other duties as assigned.</p>
<p>EDUCATION: Associate degree in business or related medical field preferred but not required.</p>
<p>EXPERIENCE: Minimum of four years of executive level administrative experience required. Two years in a health care organization pref&#8217;d.</p>

<p>Responsibilities include:<br />
Managing the COO&#8217;s calendar through Outlook<br />
Scheduling meetings involving participants in numerous time zones<br />
Organizing, sorting, and monitoring COO&#8217;s email<br />
Organizing and prioritizing large volumes of information, document control and electronic filing<br />
Assisting the Chief Operating Officer with maintaining organized files and office<br />
Receiving incoming calls and correspondence for the COO and utilizing confidentiality and good judgment in handling.<br />
Assistance preparing presentations and proposals. PowerPoint experience required.<br />
Taking minutes/notes at Executive level meetings, then drafting a document for transmitting to other attendees.<br />
Arranging complex travel plans and itineraries<br />
Tracking and timely renewal of memberships and professional licenses<br />
Miscellaneous duties as requested in support of the Chief Operating Officer<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Alaska Executive Search (AES) has been retained by Bristol Bay Native Corporation to source a dynamic executive to serve as Director of Corporate Development.  This executive must have a proven track record of identifying, analyzing and presenting new investment opportunities that support the strategic intent of their organization.  The executive must intimately understand the Alaska and national markets, products, players, and technologies and will possess 10 years of executive and/or corporate development, M&amp;A and/or investment management experience.</p>
<p><strong>Bristol Bay Native Corporation Overview</strong></p>
<p>Formed under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) of 18 December 1971, Bristol Bay Native Corporation (BBNC) has approximately 9,000 shareholders.  It is a Tribal Consortium made up of 31 Tribes who are of Eskimo, Indian and Aleut descent and whose mission includes maintaining and promoting social, economic, cultural, and educational opportunities for the benefit of the Tribes and the Native people of Bristol Bay.</p>
<p>BBNC is a diversified holding company with investments and<br />
holdings that include a corporate services subsidiary, an environmental<br />
remediation firm, a design firm, a card-lock fueling subsidiary, oilfield and<br />
environmental cleanup company, and asbestos abatement subsidiary as well as an<br />
engineering, environmental, information technology and logistical support<br />
services company.   BBNC is dedicated to enriching the Alaska Native way of life and to celebrating and preserving their culture and its linkage to the land.</p>
<p>To further its goals of promoting economic opportunities, and increasing its<br />
financial strength for the future, BBNC has set aside substantial monies to<br />
invest in new asset opportunities over the next 5 years that will produce<br />
favorable financial returns and/or provide employment opportunities for its<br />
shareholders.</p>
<p><strong>Position Requirements</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing required, with MBA or<br />
JD preferred</li>
<li>10 years plus of corporate development, M&amp;A and/or investment<br />
management work</li>
<li>Long-term strategic planning experience</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a team<br />
player</li>
<li>Strategic conceptual thinking processes</li>
<li>Demonstrated organizational and analytical skills</li>
<li>Proven ability to positively influence senior executives, Board<br />
members, Shareholders and key stakeholders</li>
<li>Proven negotiation skills to secure and close transactions</li>
<li>Exceptional presentation skills, excellent written, listening and<br />
verbal communication skills</li>
